When making your travel reservations, be aware that the closest airport to Oxford, MS is the Memphis International Airport (MEM). This is the airport to and from which the official shuttle services will run. Below you will find shuttle booking information, as well as driving directions. Shuttle Info:
When coordinating your flights for the International Conference on the Science of Botanicals (ICSB), please know that you should fly into the Memphis International Airport (MEM), which is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes (65 miles) from The University of Mississippi. Please make sure to request a shuttle a minimum of 6-buisness days in advance of your scheduled flight.
Through the University of Mississippi, Division of Outreach, Office of Professional Development, Events and Services, you can reserve a shuttle to/from the Memphis International Airport. This is a fee-based service that operates under policies and procedures, so please be sure to read all the information prior to reserving a shuttle. You will need to go to the events & services webpage to read the policies and procedures including the hours of operation and payment information as well as fill our your shuttle request form. If you choose this service, please be sure to state that you are with the International Conference on the Science of Botanicals by writing “ICSB” in the notes section on the required shuttle request form. Please make sure you have submitted your shuttle requests by (3/16/2025)

Directions to the Oxford Conference Center
The Oxford Conference Center is located at the intersection of Hwy 7 and Sisk Ave, two exits north of the Hwy 6 and Hwy 7 interchange.
From the north or south on I-55: In Batesville, take Hwy 6E into Oxford. Take Hwy 7N toward Holly Springs, and take a right at the second exit, Sisk Ave. The Oxford Conference Center will be on your right.
From the north or south on Hwy 7: as you enter Oxford look for the Sisk Ave. exit. From the north turn left onto Sisk, cross under Hwy 7 and the Oxford Conference Center will be on your right. From the south, exit to the right and the Oxford Conference Center will be on your right.
From the east on Hwy 6: When you enter Oxford, take Hwy 7N toward Holly Springs. Take your second exit at Sisk Ave. and the Oxford Conference Center will be on the right.
Traveling to the US
The 23rd Annual Oxford International Conference on the Science of Botanicals will be held in Oxford, Mississippi, USA. All international attendees may need a valid passport from their country of origin to travel to the United States.
If you are not a US Citizen, you will need to check with the US Embassy or Consulate in the country you will be traveling from about the visa requirements for travel to the United States. If a US visa is required, we recommend that you start the visa process as early as possible.
If you are a citizen of the country you are traveling from, we recommend that you apply for a visa at least 4 months in advance of your travel to the US.
If you are not a citizen of the country you are traveling from (i.e., a third-country national), or you are working on sensitive technology, or if you have previously been denied a US visa, we recommend you begin your application process at least 6 months in advance of your travel to the US.

Preparing to Attend the Meeting
After you complete the visa application process use this website to register, plan your travel, reserve your hotel room, and obtain scheduling details. To save money and assure you receive proper accommodations, we strongly recommend that you complete your hotel reservations and register for the meeting before the deadlines.
All attendees, including speakers and poster presenters, must register for the meeting in order to participate in the technical sessions or the exposition. Attendees must display their badge at all times in order to be admitted to all sessions and events.
